Azmoon graduated in B.Eng.(Electronics) in 1986. He joined Philips Singapore as Development Engineer and Section Manager of R&D in 1990. In 1996 he was posted to France in Philips Car Systems group as a R&D Platform Manager and in 1997, promoted to Technical Manager. As his organization has evolved to VDO now, he came back to Singapore in 1999 as the R&D Director of VDO Singapore Pte Ltd. In 2001 he was promoted as Vice-President, R&D, Siemens VDO Automotive and in 2003 as Vice-President of Business Development. In 2004, he is the President & CEO, Siemens VDO Automotive, Singapore with a total staff of 275. His professional line remained the same, but the company which he worked was acquired a few times. These gave him great experiences to management and re-engineering changes. Besides his professional career, Azmoon is active in the Board of Governors in ITE, Council member in various Associations and Charities. On top of his career, he has added on his newly discovered passion in Finance. He has a Dip Financial Mgt and a Master of Finance.
