Building Technology Workshop

This workshop is a day-long set of sessions focused on core technologies in use today in the creation of integrated and connected buildings. Presentations will include outlines of key device standards such as LonWorks and BACnet as well as an introduction of key technologies such as wireless and Ethernet based networks. Also included in this track will be an introduction to XML and Web Services and how they pertain to building systems, including issues such as security, performance, working with IT departments and deploying web based solutions.
