A number of vendors and integrators have been invited to participate in this session where the devices, laptops, infrastructure and tools will liberally used to demonstrate the flexibilities of Web Services. Attendees are invited to participate with questions, suggestions and challenges to the assembled participants.

Web Services are enabling very valuable information to be economically communicated and integrated into existing applications, databases, and user interface tools. Sensus M.I. specializes in Fault Detection, Diagnosis, and Impact of HVAC and refrigeration machines and systems. Brian will demonstrate how web services are enabling machine data from various protocols to be communicated over the internet and analyzed to determine machine performance and energy impact. Summarized FDDI results can be offered as a web service that can drive email, sms, phone call, and work order generation notifications. The Fault Detection, Diagnosis, and Impact results may also be an RSS feed into a MyYahoo page or consumed by an existing HMI user interface or reporting tool.
