Call for Papers
We are pleased to invite you to submit your topic ideas for Wi-tivity Europe, October 3-5, 2006 at The RAI Congress Centre, Amsterdam.
Wi-tivity prompts debate and discussions on the new directions and technological developments of wireless as a connectivity media for the control and monitoring of devices and systems. Wi-tivity attendees have an extremely strong interest in the use of different wireless technologies, and see wireless as an significant opportunities for their businesses.
Wi-tivity attendees are industry leaders, early adopters, influencers and individuals wishing to enforce this message in the mainstream markets.
2006 Topics
- Wireless as a key connectivity media for control and monitoring
- Discussion on differing wireless technologies, and their target applications
- Adoption strategies of the use of wireless mesh
- Application of Wireless Mesh Sensor Networking
- In-depth case studies and success experiences from thought leaders
- Discussions on new and relevant wireless technologies
- Discussions and workshops on technical and commercial subjects
- Development, application and adoption of standards in wireless
- ZigBee, WiMax, Wi-FI, Bluetooth and other wireless initiatives
Presentations
Presentations are 30- to 90-minute long depending on subject. Sessions may be panel discussions with short 5-minute presentations made by each panelists followed by moderated Q&A and discussions for an balance view on the topic.
Presentations should be written with a strong technical content bias and commercial and application benefit. Papers and proposals of a marketing and sales nature are not appropriate for this venue and will not be accepted.
LCD projectors will be available, and a standard presentation template will be provided.
Speaker Policy
Wi-tivity has non-commercialization policy for presentations. The objective of presentations is to educate, discuss and debate and not to sell products or services. Session moderator, track leader and Clasma Events have responsibility to ensure speakers adhere to this policy.
Clasma has a policy to provide complimentary conference registration to valid contributors to the event, the determination of validity is in the hands of the moderator, track leader and Clasma Events Inc.

Review Process
Papers will be reviewed by Clasma Events, its advisors and strategic partners. Applicants will be accepted or rejected with status notification by email.
Publication & Rights
Clasma Events Inc. requires publication rights to accepted papers, including the publication of the audio proceedings as well as publication and reproduction rights to any video filmed during the presentations. These rights are non-exclusive. Copyright ownership is retained by the author.
What to Submit
Please send an email to antob@clasma.com with the following information:
- Mark the Subject “Amsterdam RAI, Call for Papers”
- Provide name, title, affiliation and contact details of the proposed speaker
- Provide a 100 word bio of the proposed speaker
- Provide a title for the paper (100 characters max)
- Provide a 100-200 word abstract of the paper
- Type of presentation; educational, discussion, perspective, application stories, etc.
- If necessary, provide administrator’s contact details
